A new song written in an old style. The images are taken in the Second Life sim "The 1920s Berlin Project", which is a magnificent historical sim that I have recently discovered. B. J. Blue and his Trio sing and play "Always blue in Berlin", composed by B. J. Blue (i.e. me) Lyrics: A doleful night meets morning light and I rest under a linden tree I am always blue in Berlin since the day you left me I open a book and have a look but I can't read a single phrase I am always blue in Berlin since we went different ways The children are playing at Friedrichstrasse I hear their laughs and their screams Why did you go away? My heart is today a jigsaw puzzle of broken dreams A voice of silk skin of honey and milk and soft dandelion hair I am always blue in Berlin when you're not here The drunks are singing at Dorothenstrasse Songs of many memories and fears A pint at the bar Strumming my guitar Cannot dry my bitter tears I wish you luck but I am stuck even though my heart is free I am always blue in Berlin since the day you left me ©Treplektra produktion 2012
