Hey guys! I wrote this song about a month ago, and thought I'd post it tonight for the whole Valentine's Day occasion (:
I think one of my favorite parts about this song is the way the dynamics and music express the emotion. In the beginning, there's the quiet guitar picking, which I think kind of represents the start of a relationship, the blissful getting-to-know-each-other period. Then throughout the song it's more intense and emotional, which is exactly how I felt writing this song, and how I think a lot of people feel in a really strong or intense relationship. Then it ends with the quiet picking again, which for me, represents whatever you want it to. It could be a happy ending, it could be that it didn't work out but it was peaceful, it could be a bad ending, or it could be starting back from square one. It's whatever you make it out to be.
