March Snowstorm - When is Winter Going to End?

All public schools and the Federal Government were closed the night before a major ice and snow storm struck the Washington DC area on Monday, March 4, 2014. Stuck at home for the day, sacrificing a personal day of vacation, in between projects I recorded some video of the storm out the windows of our home in Sterling, VA, and outdoors during a brief, frigid walk with our dog, Shadow. Although it was fun to watch the snow pile up and a variety of birds coming to our feeders, this mixture of dry and icy snow wasn't any fun to play in. Enough already, bring on spring!
