I used the code that lets you go anywhere on the sea floor. This also means that you can surface anywhere. So you can get your boat stuck in mountains or right on top of towns and other buildings. If the boat gets stuck like that and you can't get back on to dock it properly then the only way to fix it is by warping. And since you'll likely be stuck too unless you're lucky... Then warp away!
