Review of one of the many cheap zoomable flashlights found on Amazon, these flashlights are typically advertised as 2000 lumens with a zoomable beam, in reality they are probably slightly over 400 lumens but are quite well made and the zoomable beam feature is very useful. The beam can be set to a wide floodlight with short range or a spotlight with much longer range, or anywhere in-between.
These flashlights can take 3 AAA batteries with an included adaptor, a 18650 battery or a 26650 battery. I am using mine with an 18650 battery, as these are a more common battery type.

The flashlight has 5 functions, to cycle between them the torch has to be turned on and off quickly.
High, Medium, Low, Strobe and SOS.
After being turned off for a few seconds the flashlight will turn back on to the high mode.
