Among the speakers, Corrine Kohut tells the moving story of the fasting for 94 days that finally forced the US to release seized computers intended for Cuban hospitals. Gail Walker is the daughter of the late Lucius Walker who participated in 21 "friendshipments." The Caravan leaves for Cuba starting July 16th and will cross the border at multiple locations as a blitz tactic challenging the unconstitutional US requirement for a license for US citizens to travel to Cuba. The cruel US blockade of Cuba is also a violation of the UN Charter that prohibits economic warfare between member nations and as a signed treaty is supposed to be honored as the law of our land.
