I've been playing this song on the guitar recently and loved the simplistic brilliance of that second chord. Apparently named Dadd4add2...or D* in my book! I thought it'd be good to try recreate it on the uke. After messing with a few ideas, and positions I came up with a compromise (well we are two strings down on a guitar!) Namely 2200 shape. I think this is only the Dadd2 bit. Hind sight being a wonderful thing perhaps I would have been better off with 0200 ?? I'm not sure. I'll let you Uker's out there decide and post the inevitable replies!? Either way it's a simple great song and I enjoyed playing it on the guitar and the ukulele. I hope you enjoy listening...
