Lyrics

When the Sun Met the Moon – Laura Saggers

When the sun first met the moon
She said how do ya do
And the sun looked up to see
A vision of beauty

So the sun then took her hand
And flew her across the land
And he her showed her green and blue
It was the start of something new

Cus the sun and the moon , It’s like me and it’s you
Never ever meant to be apart
And no matter the day , if I’m here or away
You’re always gonna be in my heart
And no matter the weather we’re always gonna be together
The sun and the moon , It’s like me and it’s you
You’ll always be the light that starts my day

Then the darkness came and stole the light
And kidnapped the moon into the night
And every day the sun tries to chase the sky
And find a way back to his love

Cus the sun and the moon , It’s like me and it’s you
Never ever meant to be apart
And no matter the day , if I’m here or away
You’re always gonna be in my heart
And no matter the weather we’re always gonna be together
The sun and the moon , It’s like me and it’s you
You’ll always be the light that starts my day

Bridge
Cus the sun and the moon , It’s like me and it’s you
Never ever meant to be apart
And no matter the day , if I’m here or away
You’re always gonna be in my heart
And no matter the weather we’’’ always be together
The sun and the moon , It’s like me and it’s you
You’ll always be the light that starts my day
