The National Association of Disabled Staff Networks (NADSN) and University College London‘s Equality@UCL and Enable@UCL have collaborated to proudly present this year’s NADSN Conference. This Conference is generously supported by the Business Disability Forum (BDF) and sponsored by some of their corporate members. We cordially invite all colleagues in higher and further education institutions and other organisations, who are members of disabled staff networks or have an interest in the equality of disabled staff, to attend this exciting event.

The theme of this Conference is on promoting and ensuring the equality of disabled staff in the higher and further education sector. The day will feature presentations by a star-studded line-up of speakers:

- Patrick Johnson, Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at The University of Manchester;

- Jane Cordell and Hormoz Ahmadzadeh, Directors of Result CIC;

- Nicole Brown, Lecturer in Education at UCL Institute of Education;

- Dr Christine Rivers, Lead for Equality and Health Inequalities Team at NHS England;

- Diane Lightfoot, CEO of the Business Disability Forum;

- and Professor Anna Lawson, Director of the Centre for Disability Studies at the University of Leeds!

Plus an open debate on the value (or not) of equality chart marks and standards!

Entry will be by ticket only, so please bring along a hard copy printout of the ticket on the day. We have tried hard to make this event accessible. If you have any additional requirements, including dietary requirements, please contact the organisers no later than a week before the event so that these can be considered.
