In this video, you will follow one teacher, Amy, over two days as her intermediate level, reading-writing class works on a mini-project. The mini-project is based on the class novel "Hoot" by Carl Hiaasen. The students are coming up with descriptive adjectives for the characters in the novel. Note how the teacher works with students when they are in groups. Watch for signs of engagement from the students.
