Managers of television station Obinim TV (OB TV) have questioned the decision by the National Communication Authority to take their TV Station off air. The NCA on Wednesday took  nine channels off our screens -  ATV, Clive TV, ECN, Zoe TV, BTA, Care TV, Kessben TV, Elijah TV and Obinim TV (OB TV) owned by controversial ‘Bishop’ Daniel Obinim. The NCA explained that it took off channels on the K-Net platform because they violated Section 2(4) of the Electronic Communications Act 2008, Act 775. But, Managers of Obinim TV have argued that they were not told by K-Net that they could not operate until the processes were over. Meanwhile, Member of parliament for Kwasimintim Joe Badu Ansah said it is surprising that the NCA is only acting now when some of these stations have existed for years.
 
The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has declared an indefinite strike over the failure of government to implement the consolidation of their salaries beginning the 1st of April 2016. Their decision follows a one month ultimatum given to government at the beginning to ensure their demands were met. According to the President of the association, JUSAG petitioned the judicial council for a new salary structure, which was approved and forwarded to government for implementation. He further stated  after several months of waiting government has failed to implement the consolidation of their salaries hence their decision.
 
New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate for the 2016 election, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has proposed the establishment of employment tax scheme to provide tax incentives to companies that employ fresh graduates. He added that the desire to raise revenue should not be allowed to kill business and cause unemployment. Speaking at a student forum at the KNUST, Bawumia said an operational national identification and good addressing system will also help drive growth and build new businesses that will employ graduates.
 
 
Two suspected robbers who robbed a forex bureau at Kaneshie to the tune of GH¢150,000 at gun point have been remanded into custody by an Accra Circuit Court. Yakubu Alhassan and Haruna Abdulai aka Borbor pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit crime and robbery. The Court presided over by Aboagye Tandoh turned down a bail application put in by one C.K Hoeyi on behalf of Alhassan. They are to reappear on April 13. Two more people including a woman is said to be at large.
