മൂന്നാറിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നവര്‍ ഉറപ്പായും പോകേണ്ട ഒരു സ്ഥലം, ഒരൊന്നൊന്നര സ്ഥലം, അതാണ് ഇഞ്ചത്തൊട്ടി തൂക്കുപാലം. ഒപ്പം അടിപൊളി പെഡല്‍ബോട്ടിങ്ങും കയാക്കിങ്ങും. പെരിയാര്‍ ഒഴുകിയപ്പോള്‍ ഞങ്ങളും അതിന്‍റെ മുകളിലൂടെ ഒഴുകി, കയാക്കില്‍. ഒരിക്കലും തിരിച്ചു വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങാന്‍ തോന്നിയില്ല. എത്ര സുന്ദരമാണ് എന്‍റെ നാട്, കണ്ണിനും മനസ്സിനും ഒരുപോലെ കുളിരേകി ഇഞ്ചത്തൊട്ടി. സോജുവും ശ്രീയേഷും ഞാനും മനസ്സില്ലാമനസ്സോടെയാണ് അവിടെ നിന്ന് യാത്ര തിരിച്ചത്. ആ യാത്രക്ക് ശേഷം എനിക്ക് എന്തോ മിസ്സിംഗ്‌ പോലെ...പിന്നെയാണ് ഞാന്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത്, മിസ്സ്‌ ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഞങ്ങളുടെ സൗഹൃദം ആണെന്ന്, ആ കുളിര്മ്മയാണെന്ന്‍, കുളിര്‍മ്മയുടെ പെരിയാറും ഇഞ്ചത്തൊട്ടിയും ആണെന്ന്‍...
