Pentagon's statement following US-led missile strikes on Syria

The Pentagon said airstrikes in Syria hit every target, and it is unaware of any civilian casualties. The strikes were "overwhelming and effective," and sent an unambiguous message to the Syrian regime to deter the use of chemical weapons, said the Pentagon.
