It may seem like restoring your iPhone from backup is a piece of cake, but for me it was a little bit of a nightmare. Several times iTunes lost communication with the iPhone and I tried various techniques to get my iPhone recognized by iTunes again. Luckily I was able to capture my Windows 7 desktop and actual video of what my iPhone screen was doing during the whole process. Hopefull your iPhone restore goes a lot more smoothly than mine did, but if it doesn't this video is probably one of the best out there to help you troubleshoot the iTunes restore process. Good Luck and please comment with your restore experiences.
