Newport man escapes from jail in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKRC) - Kentucky State Police are looking for an escaped inmate.

Joseph Gramer II is from Newport.

He escaped the Franklin County regional jail in Frankfort on Friday, but police said they weren't notified until Saturday morning.

State troopers say to call 911 if you see the 29-year-old.

They're not sure where he might be headed.
