Watch as the beautiful and talented Sherri Shepherd pay a visit to to the Bare Pantry kitchen to hang out with me. We ran this recording as "Live on tape" so the only editing is when when we stopped and started the cameras. We wanted you to feel as is you were here with us so we showed a lot of behind the scenes. I didn't know @SherriShowTV personally. I reached out to her because I felt desperate when my mom was battling her health once again. I didn't know if mom was gonna make it, but I hoped with all my heart that she would. (Spoiler alert, mom passed 3 months after Sherri came to cook with me) I reached out to Sherri, as she streamed live on her Periscope platform and asked her to come cook with me because I wanted to impress my mom. At first Sherri was reluctant, but she didn't say no. Her reluctance was because she didn't really know how to cook and didn't see how she could contribute to the show. I told her about my mom and told her that I want her personality and not her cooking skills. The then said yes and true to her word on April 1st 2016, Sherri came to cook with me. We have remained great friends since. What is Sherri like in person? She is quiet when she needs to be, naturally funny, generous not just with material things, but also with helping you make connections and in promoting you in your dreams.
