I would like to talk about time when you schedule a video shooting. MY FAVORITE FILMMAKING GEAR ►http://bit.ly/2p4eUJY Let’s get straight to the point. Regarding time recording, it is advisable to discuss it with the client, regardless of whether you are shooting promotional video, wedding video, or any other kind. If the schedule is too tight, you could face a lack of time for planned scenario, which could be a problem not only in terms of the quality of the recording material, but in terms of its quantity too. To be more precise, you'll probably have problems later, during video editing. Something you could miss, something will remain incomplete, and it could be very difficult to find the most impressive shots that reflect your idea. Accordingly, these are my five tips which I hope will help when a client contacts you. PRESENT YOURSELF by explaining what you do, what is your style of shooting and try to present your idea. Also, it is important to explain what it takes to get the job done. TIME - When you gain the trust of the client, providing the time should not be the problem. The client should provide all the time you need to do your work. You are the expert in the field, which you will prove with your work. If there is not enough time, reschedule the shooting for another day, even if many people are involved in the shooting. GOOD PREPARATION: you are a beginner, don’t waste your time at the set by preparing your gear and settings on the cam. Do it at your home/office, recharge all the batteries, clean up your memory cards, assemble all the gear you need and do not bring unnecessary stuff. TAKE THE HELP OF AN ASSISTANT. Bring along an assistant familiar with video gear, who will speed up your prearation process so you can focus on the client. COME EARLIER. If you have a schedule at 5 pm, come at least half an hour earlier. Check the environment, the details, the surroundings, the lighting, the light meet the people involved in the filming, etc. And remember! You will make the best video by taking into account the wishes of your client and creatively expressing yourself according to your style at the same time. Good luck!
