In today's Design Basics episode we will be talking about working with lines. We will show you all the different ways that you can use lines in your artwork and to demonstrate this we will using Adobe Illustrator today.

First, we will show you how you can use the lines and boxes to group or break up information to give a business card a more professional look. There are a variety of different types of lines you can use e.g: bold, dotted or dash line to create different effects on your designs.

In addition to using lines to break-up or contain information, we will also show you how you can use custom lines when working with illustrations, and how these different types of lines can change the personality and the feel of your artwork.
