[00:00:13] That means you have. Not you all. Start again.

[00:00:26] Hi, I'm Pam, and I'm Leslie with the Twisted Sister. I was like, I'm so excited about going on Cupcake Wars. How about you? Absolutely. What do you notice? Shiny makeup. Twisted Sifter Cake Shoppe TV Cupcake Wars Audition Food Network Danville Kentucky 2

[00:00:42] Hi, I'm the real Pam. I am the owner and sugar architect for the Twisted cifor Cake Shop, and I'm 49 years old.

[00:00:50] And hi, I'm the real Leslie Walter. I'm 21 years old and I am the assistant sugar intake here.

[00:00:58] It's a good thing she's 21 because we did a lot of our cupcakes. Have a lot of spirit. How about that? That's much better. We are so excited to be part of the Cupcake Wars adventure. We look forward to the opportunity to be able to create a wonderful cupcake out of whatever you can throw at us when we win Cupcake Wars. What we're gonna do with our $10000 is Leslie here is getting married next year. She's got a wedding to be more. I kid you seriously good vacation. And Miss Beth. Miss Beth is looking for a boob job.

[00:01:39] My original intention for the shop was to do wedding cakes, but I was opening in Jamie while January is not exactly wedding season, so I had to think of something to basically pay the utilities. I just thought, you know, we'll do some cupcakes here. The first two months that we were open, we sold thousands of cupcakes. I believe that the reason we sold all those cupcakes is because we use real butter. We are Kentucky proud. I use organic eggs. I have picked fruit from local farmers. We try to keep ingredients as fresh as possible and people come from all over the state. We have people who call us on a pretty regular basis and ask if we will ship. People love our stuff. I think we would do great. In Vino Cupcake Wars, I think we give them all a run for their money. Keep.

[00:02:33] Pipe sitting down. What's really cold? We get a lot of thank you cards from our customers thanking us for our unique flavors and our customer service. We even had one couple who sent us an eight by 10 of their wedding cake. They were so excited about it. How cool is that? That's awesome.

[00:02:58] Right now, I am a senior family and consumer sciences education major at Eastern Kentucky University and my background in Home EC in cooking led me to seek a job here at the Twisted Sister. But in all reality, I was broke. I had no job. I couldn't pay my bills. So I came in here. Pam had an opening for a receptionist to answer the phones and to take orders. And so that's when I started out doing here. I really had no experience in decorating a cake or decorating a cupcake. But there was one week we were really understaffed and Pam had a ton of wedding 10mm birthday cakes to do so. I had no choice. She threw me into it and said, this is I need you to do and I need to do it now. So I got in there. I just went for it and come to find out. I have all this crazy cake telling that I never would have known if Pam hadn't given me the opportunity to work with her and be part of this shop. I watch Cupcake Wars all the time and I'm big, pretty fluent French. So I also have a heads up employee to say you better watch out. That was also found before.

[00:04:15] And weddings insurance we caught. Absolutely. And the voice. So just to let you know, we really, really, really want to be on Cupcake Wars. We know we can be competitive. We know we will get those other competitors a run for their money. We know that we can make a great cupcake out of whatever ingredients we throw at us that the judges will love. We are going to kick some cupcake ads.

[00:05:10] There's just one thing missing from this costume, Mel. And do you need to back up just a little more? Move back home. I still am in the frame. Yes. You still I can see the front of the camera. You need to keep. You are. All right. Just a little bit more. You're in a British accent. Absolutely. I up. Toasted. Right. OK, guys, you know, I'll have to stand out spam, spam most likely moves away. Oh, spam, eggs and spam. Oh, by me. I'm having spam, spam, spam, spam, spam. But he was inspired by football clubs instead. Oh, my God. Oh, I know it was that those spam thing. Did you get that? I don't know about what's going to happen. They're going to put you two on the show. I don't know. Maybe we're going to kick some cupcake. I this cupcake. But Philippe. And try to get.
