Tonight we're focusing on the Post Office and mountains of parcels that have yet to be delivered. In 2015 after years of losses, inefficiencies, and scandals, a private equity investor, Mark Barnes, was appointed as CEO to save the Post Office. He closed more than 200 branches and promised efficiencies. But three years later the SA Post Office is struggling to deal with a backlog of millions. In August Barnes said he was confident the backlog would be cleared by the end of September, then an October deadline was missed and he is now saying they hope to resolve the issue by the end of November. Can we believe him? To discuss we're joined by the CEO Mark Barnes. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
