If the public would have listened to Sinead O'Connor back in '92, how many children would have been protected?

This song was written by Christy Davy (criosdubh) I call it a traditional Irish Song sort of. Can a brand new Irish song be traditional? Well how about if an Irishman wrote it in the traditional way (with pen and paper). Who can then argue that it is not a traditional Irish song? Any way this song was recently posted by Criosdubh (Christy Davy) and I felt a strong pull towards it. My interpretation is of a family that is wronged but can not do a damn thing about it. The only thing they can do about it is hope that the perpetrators get their just deserts. It has been a strong belief of mine for quite some time that people do get what they get coming to them. Whether it be good or bad. Some how, some way, what comes around goes around. (dont get me wrong, sometimes we have to help the issue a bit) Perhaps its called Karma but I call it being able to look myself in the eye when I look in the mirror and shave. Sometimes the best things we can do when we are wronged is grin and bear it and silently damn them to some evil place then smile contentedly when it happens.
