'건축'은 다양한 관점으로 바라보아야 하는 '공간 디자인'입니다. 현재 정림 건축 Design Principal 사장님으로서 이형재 연사님은 "무언가를 짓기 위해서는 그 땅의 성격, 문화와 정서 그리고 이용하는 사람들까지 고려해야 한다"는 것을 
강조하십니다. 또한, 자신만의 철학이 깃든 건축 설계 경험을 바탕으로 무심코 지나치곤 했던 우리 주위의 대학교 건물이나 교회, 도서관 등 '건축을 읽는 방법'에 대해서 생생히 들려주시고자 합니다. 
이형재 연사님께서는 특히 이화여대 포스코관, 동국대 중앙도서관 등 대학 건물 외에도 청와대 본관 및 춘추관, 국립디지털 도서관 등과 같은 공공 프로젝트를 수행하신 바 있으며 평양과학기술대학 설계 경험으로 북한 건축에도 축적된 자료와 고나심을 가지고 계십니다. 뿐만 아니라, 종교건축으로는 관문사와 예닯 교회 포함 30여 개신교 교회 건축에 열정을 쏟으신 바 있으며 특히 교회의 형태와 커뮤니티 적 공간 가능성에 관심을 갖고 계십니다. 
이번 TEDxSinchon 7th event "Cabinet of Curiosities"을 통해서, 여러분은 건축을 바라보는 새로운 시각을 갖게 될 것입니다.

"Design that Starts and Finishes on the Ground: A Story of Architecture"

Mr. Lee is not only the president at the leading architectural firm Junglim, but also a fully active and respected architect in Korea. He has designed the main office and the press center of Ceongwadae (the Blue House), the National Digital Library, numerous universities as well as churches and buildings in North Korea. For his extensive experience and passion as an architect, he was honored by Korean Institute of Architect (KIA), and has been awarded the Main Prize at KIA Competition.


In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
