This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Creativity is not related to artitics processes only. It can be found in Technological and scientif breaktrhoughs. How is this creativity applied to medicine nowadays.

Maria Dolors Ruiz is a family doctor, but she is interested in many other things that tries to apply in her profession. When she began to practice medicine, she didn't find all the answers were covered, so she started to develop an interest in the overall view of the human body and Chinese medicine and became specialized in acupuncture. 

She later on studied telemedicine to achieve the benefits of introducing technology in healthcare systems. For several years she attempted to apply it on primary care patients with chronic diseases.

Quan va començar a exercir va trobar que la medicina occidental no ho explicava tot, així que es va interessar per la visió que té del cos humà la medicina xinesa i es va especialitzar en acupuntura.

Posteriorment, va cursar estudis de telemedicina per tal d’aconseguir introduir els beneficis de la tecnologia en els sistemes sanitaris. Des de fa uns anys, intenta aplicar-ho en la medicina primària en pacients amb malalties cròniques.
