President Obama is getting a re-election boost from The Boss. Bruce Springsteen, in a message posted on his website, officially endorsed Obama after "getting asked a lot about where I stand." He'd been silent on national politics so far in this election, though he supported Obama in 2008 and John Kerry in 2004. In his letter, Springsteen noted he's behind Obama because of the president's support for women's and gay rights, ending the Iraq war, and tracking down Osama bin Laden. He added, "For me, President Obama is our best choice because he has a vision of the United States as a place where we are all in this together." Bruce will campaign for Obama this week with Bill Clinton in Ohio and Iowa.
