Art, like so many things in life, is inextricably connected with our emotions. So naturally, art making can bring up a lot of feelings. In this video I'll talk about some of the ones I experience as a professional artist and illustrator, both in making personal work, and in making work for clients. These are just my own experiences, and I'm sure I have absorbed a lot of these ideas from various podcasts, TedTalks, etc, so I don't think I'm covering anything especially original. But I hope it's helpful nonetheless! If you want to read more about the actual stages of grief (some say there are 5, some say 7) I recommend a google search! :) Ann Patchett also has some very helpful things to say on the topic in "This is the Story of a Happy Marriage." Available as an audiobook for all you painters looking for something to listen to. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!! Filmed with: Camera - Canon G7X Mark II (http://amzn.to/2xsYC0S) Follow me!
