ILG Adamant on Decision to Evict Other Landowners and Settlers in Tanam

The incorporated land group behind the Tanam evictions in Morobe is steadfast in its decision to evict other landowners and settlers alike. The President, Gedisa Omot, says the Montar Meyab Naron ILG is registered and recognized, with the title they obtained in 2016. Other landowners along the Tanam area, however say the ILG is not made up of known traditional clans from the area.
