***NOTE***I realize it says "EAA Airventure 2008" at the beginning of the video. My 2008 title was accidentally added, but for some reason I missed it until the video was uploaded. It should say "EAA Airventure 2009". It has been corrected since, but I'm not going to spend the five hours to re upload the video because of that. Thanks! In this video you see footage of the T-28 Trojan 60th Anniversary performances as well as various formations from the duration of the week. Out of all the aircraft anniversaries I have seen since I've been attending Oshkosh, this was one of the best. It was a very entertaining way of commemorating such a fine aircraft, with lots of performances, large formations, and good airshow narration. Instead of just a party on the ground to commemorate the T-28 (much like a lot of the aircraft anniversaries at Oshkosh), they dedicated about 45 minutes worth of the airshow to bring the party to the crowd, and into the air. It was great!
