- Paciente de 42 años en tratamiento médico con dutasteride (15 años), y difusa DPA NWIV.  Pelo rizado, blanco, se le supone moderada dificultad en la extracción. Línea frontal conservada pero donante normal. Se plantea cirugía de reparación con estrategia al máximo en una cirugía y después ver si retocamos. 

Características donante:

· Temporal: 52 micras de pelo; 102 UF/cm2; 219 pelos/cm2; 2,15 pelos/UF; CV de 11,39

· Parietal: 54 micras; 72 UF/cm2; 192 pelos/cm2; 2,67 pelos/UF; CV de 10.37

· Occipital: 55 micras; 81 UF/cm2; 225 pelos/cm2; 2,78 pelos/UF; CV de 12,38

TDA (área donante total) de 258 cm2 y TDC (capacidad donante total) de 11499 grafts (a 2,59 pelos/graft).

Se realiza intervención de 4301 grafts (10722 pelos) para restaurar 79 cm2 (35 a 38 grafts/cm2) de frontal y 49 cm2 de coronilla (20 a 38 grafts/cm2) a una media de 2,49 pelos/graft  y (436 singles; 1729 dobles; 1746 triples; 367 cuadruples, 23 quíntuples). Punch de 0.8 mm.

El video muestra la evolución y crecimiento a los 10 meses con importante mejoría en la cobertura teniendo en cuenta sus características cosméticas.

This 42 yo patient, in medical treatment with dutasteride (15 years) and a diffuse DPA NW IV pattern. Curly hair, White, probably difficult to extract. Frontal line still in place, but the donor area is normal. We planned a 1 step strategy with the máximum harvestin and see if we have to touch-up at the end. 

Donor area with the following characteristics:

· Temporal: 52 microns of hair; 102 FU/cm2; 219 hairs/cm2; 2,15 hairs/FU; CV of 11,39

· Parietal: 54 microns; 72 FU/cm2; 192 hairs/cm2; 2,67 hairs/FU; CV of 10.37

· Occipital: 55 microns; 81 FU/cm2; 225 hairs/cm2; 2,78 hairs/FU; CV of 12,38

TDA (total donor area) of 258 cm2  y TDC (total donor capacity) of 11499 grafts (at 2,59 hairs/graft).

We carry out a  4301 grafts procedure (10722 hairs) to restore 79 cm2 in frontal third (35-38/cm2) and 49 cm2 at Crown (20 to 38 grafts7cm2), at an average of 2,49 hairs/graft (436 singles; 1729 doubles; 1746 triples; 367 cuadruples, 23 quintuples, ). Punch of 0.8 mm.

The video shows the evolution and regrowth at 10 months, with an nice improvement in coverage taking in account his cosmetic characteristics.
