Celebrations are being held to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China. Ningxia, one of five autonomous regions in China, was founded on October 25, 1958. Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and a top political adviser, is leading a high-level delegation to attend the event.
