ABOUT

"Be Offended" was the EP that more or less set the raw formula of what Tankist was, is and will be: straightforward, brutally honest thrash metal that doesn't give a flying fuck about indefensible opinions and hurt feelings. As a testament of their distaste for religion, vocals for the song "God Delusion" were recorded in their home town's active church at night... no god nor angel was there to prevent the pastor from lending the key to a band he did not know played anti-religious thrash metal. Provocatively naive and impure, "Be Offended" also gives its best to acknowledge and object the nasty pink mist of redundant tolerance present in modern society. While staying true to the old school vibe and passion, Tankist is not afraid to take some steps further to investigate new grounds and put their own twists into the songs, most notably on tracks like "Deadeye" and "Sinister 6". I say no more, hit play and enjoy!
