During our journey to Porlock we passed, quite literally, this station on the WSR, a preserved steam railway of about 20 miles, between Minehead and Bishops Lyddiard.
We encountered not one but two locomotives running tender-first but filmed them anyway.
We also went to Washford and saw another, this time right way round! Lovely station.
A very nice and friendly bunch of guys do voluntary duty there. The stations are all as they would have been 50 years ago, and are immaculate. Here, we see a train brought to a stand outside the station while another is pulling into it. When it is safely into the loop line the first is allowed in as well, and eventually both leave on their respective journeys.
Filmed in Somerset, England, UK.
