Tried to record IR video in day time by using IR filter on the Sony HDR CX700E camcorder. The camcorder cannot record IR video in day time without a filter because it is too bright to record anything & may cause damage/malfunction as stated in the manual. Notice there is quite a bit of noise in the video, even in brighter condition; The original IR video does have noise in it but doesn't look this bad in Youtube where large chunk of digital artifacts appearing everywhere.

The 30 mins video was sped up 50 times during the edit. The typical greenish look was converted to Black & White by sliding the Saturation level to zero. This time it looks a little cooler because I didn't add any warm color to it. It's true B&W.

Original file size was 1.19 GB file, recorded in Long Play format (highest compressed file size in the camcorder). Converted file size is 27.8 MB, in MP4 video format.
