So there's a bit more to this as evidenced by the pictures to this recording. I had a theory about this odd 2001-SRNB and 3T22 combo in Park Forest, and that theory was that the 2001 was owned by Park Forest and the 3T22 by Matteson and that they were both active since this location was right on the edge of both cities' limits as seen on Google Earth. So I laid a recorder here to find out. Well that theory was shot out the window as the wires for the 3T22 have been cut and probably have been for a long time. I have no idea why the siren is still standing to this day. As for the 2001, that was also a bust as it appears Park Forest didn't test at all today for some reason. However, Matteson's 2001s provide a pretty nice sounding ambiance so I decided to salvage that for this video. There is also another 2/3T22 just north of here next to the railfan viewing platform, but that wasn't heard at all either, so I'm not sure if that's been disconnected too or if it just had a recent failure.
