See Royce Seymour's "Piecemaker" trebuchet in operation at the 2011 Olathe Punkin Chunkin festival. Royce and crew have the homemade machine finely tuned. Royce explains its operation along with videos of the trebuchet itself, how it's weighted, loaded, and hits its target. This video was quite a challenge to assemble. I had over a hundred clips and picked out the ones to tell the trebuchet's story in less than 4 minutes.
