In high schools and colleges all over the world, engineering education programs are taking on hands on projects to further students learning. This gives students a better idea of what the industry has to offer, as well as growing their creative minds by watching a design come to life. 

The education facility talks about how they started with smaller machines, but nothing with the capabilities of the Tormach. They were looking for something that would be something from the industry, but also approachable to not deter students in engineering education from learning how to use the machines. Being able to get multiple machines to put in place for students for the same price as a larger machine was a huge plus. 

Students that go through their engineering education at Ohio State University get the full idea of not only how to design things, but also to make the design come to life. This is done through multiple machines, and the Tormach CNC mills are a large portion of Ohio State students to be able to do that. 

Ohio State University has filled their training lab with Tormach equipment to meet the challenges of educating future engineers. 
As an effort to bridge the gap between engineers and machine operators, Ohio State provides students with multiple opportunities to get their hands on machine tools.
