You can catch or obtain only the first Pokemon you encounter encounter in any route or area. If you fail to catch that Pokemon, you have to move onto another area. Once you capture the pokemon, you MUST wondertrade it (Note that this rule only applies to when you are playing Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, & Alpha Sappire ONLY) Rule #2: If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead, meaning that you have to either have to release it, or but it in a Death Box.
