Michael Mahler and Alan Schmuckler are happy to be home. The Northwestern School of Communication alumniclass of 2004 and 2005, respectivelyhavent been gone long, but theyve already made a name for themselves on the Chicago theater scene and now a show they wrote is being produced for the Northwestern stage. How Can You Run with a Shell on Your Back?, their one-act musical retelling of Aesops fables will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday, April 10; 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, April 11 and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Ethel M. Barber Theater, 30 Arts Circle Drive, on the Universitys Evanston campus.
