Humanities Center Director Steve Shankman interviews faculty, staff, and visiting lecturers about their research and interests for a 30 minute show that gives an inside look at the University of Oregon. This episode features Michael Aronson, Assistant Professor in the English Department's Film and Media Studies Program. He himself worked in film and video production for 12 years as a camera operator, director of photography and as an assistant cameraman. He now teaches Motion Picture History... from exhibition and the early cinema to the development of the Hollywood studio system and new media.
