Affectionately known as the “Deuce Coupe” Ford’s Model B was the frequent recipient of what people commonly refer to as “hot rodding.” The Deuce Coupe soon became the generic image of the American hot rod; immortalized in the movie “American Graffiti” which idolized the 1932 Ford. The Model B became the car of choice for hot rodders because it provided a cheap and simple platform with a V8 and parts could easily be interchanged.
