One unique factor about the Quran is the opening chapter; Sura al-Fatiha. It is one of the most frequently recited portions of the Quran. As a minimum it is recited at least 20 times a day counting only the Faraa'idh and Wajib Salah. That's 7300 times per year, which amounts to 511,000 times in an average lifespan of 70 years (remember that's only a minimum). Another amazing factor about this Sura is the way each individual recites it. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of Shuyookh, Qurra and Imams, each of whom recite this Sura in their own individual and unique way. Yet we have never ever found a person who has claimed to be tired of hearing, or reciting it. Who is YOUR favourite Shaykh/Qari/Imam? Please comment below.
