This unit has been with me since 2014, have had plenty of run time and never broken or let me down. One reason is of course the maximum top speed which doesn't allow serious high-speed-crashes, but the WT-01 chassis just seems very durable in stock form. That is not to say it is a very capable chassis, but it is a quite fun, bouncy and high-torque ride.

I have grown very found of the WT/WR-01 series of entry-level Tamiya Monster Trucks. Up to the point where I now keep (and run) both the original WR-01 Tamiya Wild Dagger, the very first of them all which spawned the whole series of WR-01s and WT-01s and one of the most popular of them all, the WT-01 Tamiya Blackfoot III.
