Powerhouse Animation has been teaming up with Trevor Romain to create animation for over 5 years. After producing several DVDs for the motivational speaker, including his most recent “With You All the Way” special for military kids coping with deployment, this year we got to take our work with Trevor in a different direction, developing a series of short vignettes based on his experiences. Watch the videos below, as Trevor narrates some of the most touching and memorable stories he has accrued throughout his travels. It can be hard to develop an art style that can coincide with stories as endearing and touching as the ones that Trevor Romain has about his travels around the world working with kids. For this project, Powerhouse created a style that borrowed elements from Trevor’s own sketchbook style, and then created an animated water color look in After Effects for the animated segments. We think it worked out very well. Check out the pieces and let us know what you think. Check out more of our work at http://www.powerhouseanimation.com !
