My 3 laps around MIR in a F430 Scuderia. The first couple of laps we just cruised around until we built enough of a gap behind the car in front of us (they didn't allow passing without permission, or even passing of the pace car). 

3:00 - When you hear the Porsche 911 radio call for permission to pass us, my instructor tells them to "speed up," lol. That is when we went to "go time." Front straight was into 6th gear (of 7), about 160 mph.

The gearbox was set to "auto," even though the paddles could still control the shifting. That is why in some unusual points, during the run, the car shifts.

Definitely need to buy one of these some day.
