Turns out there is a loop hole in the rules.... One orbit of both pylons is one lap but if you cut or miss going around one pylon it counts as a cut. you must go more than half way around the course for it to count as part of a lap so if you cut twice & lap your opponent you can win the points.
There were only two aircraft in the final race. Old age and experience always win over youthful exuberance (cheating) sccmas
