Round 1 of the Hi-Tec Drift Allstars Series was held west of Sydney at the Sydney Motorsport Park Figure 8 circuit. This season opener introduced an all new format for the 2017 season which included both Pro and Ameture categories, lining up for 2 separate qualifying sessions, 2 separate battle trees and 2 podiums at each event.
