One of my viewers mentioned that the British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor had done an arrangment of this beautiful melody, and I found it on-line. It's been rare that I've felt quite so impelled to learn a song: I downloaded the music on Wednesday and have played it a dozen or more times in the last few days. I love this melody, and this is a very touching arrangment. It's still a little rough, but I feel anxious to share it now; in a few weeks I will probably do another video with a slide-show: this music seems to beg for images.
