Yavor Nikolov discusses how addressing the social issues in the local community in Monterrey, Mexico benefited one of the largest Siemens factories employing 1500 workers. The factory’s management team has an average age of 35, and believe social impact can lend itself to business success. Introduced by Global Head of Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion for Thomson Reuters, Patsy Doerr, Yavor spoke in the Global Business Plenary Session at the 2016 One Young World Summit, the world's premier forum for young leaders, in Ottawa, Canada. The Summit brought together 1,300 delegates from all 196 UN-recognised countries, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change.
