Lapping Waters has been in the Crane family since 1923, with the original 2 story ​waterfront home​ burning ​to the ground​ in 1960. A single story summer cottage and 2 sleeping cabins ​were built to ​replace it. Two docks and a small private beach complete the property.

The ​Southwest exposure offers​ ​amazing​ sunsets​ ​a​nd​ commanding views across Lake Winnipesaukee to​wards​ both the Ossipee and Belknap mountain​ ranges​. ​

​Five generations ​of our own family ​and many, many others have ​had the privilege of ​enjoying all that ​Lapping Waters​ ​has to offer ​creating wonderful​ ​lifelong ​memories​ for all who visit​, 

​Located on the Barbers Pole​ it is truly one of the ​very ​best locations on the lake​ only minutes ​from downtown Wolfeboro​.​​ 

Fall to sleep ​to the haunting call of the ​loons combined with the soothing sound of lapping waters.​
