He focuses on the research of high- temperature materials for aero-engines, the use of physics, chemical vapor deposition, and other technologies to "energize" the heart of aircraft. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen University, Chinese Academy of Sciences University and China University of Science and Technology. He is currently a member of the 3M Committee of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering, Metal Research Institute and Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a reviewer of Surface and Coatings magazine.
