This was recorded using an iPhone 5S with no additional hardware, i.e. just the in-built mic.

It's also possible to just use the regular in-built iOS video recorder app but Impact had some rudimentary trimming ability and you can apply and save some audio FX, post-recording, then opt to upload  to either YouTube or Facebook. 

For a free app, it's worth giving it a shot :)

With respect to the audio quality, in this video I haven't done anything to reduce background noise or treat the room. The room has wood-panel flooring, hence the 'boxy' high-end sound.
